Welcome to reno to forever

Our time on Earth is too short to wait years or decades for the life we truly desire.

I am an architectural designer and have worked in both commercial and residential firms. I loved and learned from both, but eventually realized that the reason I went into architecture to begin with , is “Home”. We are bombarded by the notion of a “forever” home; something that we will save for and aspire to in the future.

But, I believe that “forever” is:

a feeling

a sense of calm

a healthy environment

being proud of your surroundings

true joy and elation when entering your space

a space that is a reflection of YOU!

AND, I believe these extend to more than the building we sleep in. The entire built environment around us molds us into who we eventually become, so why not play a bigger role in what surrounds you? One with deeper intention and significance.

With an unwavering belief in the transformative power of renovation, Reno To Forever enhances homes and lives. We are opening doors to property ownership, ensuring stability and fostering generational wealth for women and other historically marginalized communities.

How Do We Do This?

By focusing on both the tangible and intangible. The courses cover the entire process of property acquisition, design, planning, and renovation management, but more importantly, we also tackle the mind trash and dismantle the narrative we were fed. We mentor on how to speak up for yourself, how to objectively gauge situations, and how to internalize your worth through this process so that you don't feel taken advantage of.

because I can relate

I am a woman in a field that has overlooked, underpaid, and dismissed her for far too long, and….

I refuse to allow others to be made to feel small and insignificant when it comes to their own properties.

My judgement, qualifications, and skills have been called into question by those for whom I have worked as well as those I have contracted. I have been said to have “dragon eyes” simply for rightfully questioning the scope and budget of a tradesperson. I have been told to go and “get my husband” by permitting officials, and I have been man-splained to more times than I care to count on my own project sites.

I know that the system was built for the advantage of white cis men and historically people that are women, minorities, or poor have been shut out of a truly amazing vehicle- that of transforming your life through real estate.
